Damariscotta Hardware is proud to carry quality stove brands such as Harman, Regency, and Hampton stoves. Harman stoves were started by Dane Harman in his garage in Pennsylvania in 1979. Regency was started by Robert Little in his garage outside of Vancouver Canada in 1979. Both Harman and Regency continue to improve their stoves and stand behind them with exceptional technical support and warranties. Hearth and Home Technologies, or known as HHT, acquired Harman in 2007. HHT is the largest producer and manufacturer of fireplaces and hearth products in the world. Harman is still “Built to a Standard, Not a Price”. We carry another line of HHT’s stoves, EcoChoice. EcoChoice offers quality pellet and wood stoves at a lower price.

Alternate Heating Systems purchased the coal stove line from Harman as of June 19, 2014. Legacy Stoves by Harman feature rugged construction, superior fit and finish, combined with convenience and high efficiency. The standard established by Harman, “built to a standard, not a price” continues under the stewardship of Alternate Heating Systems.

Venting

We stock Selkirk pellet pipe in individual pieces and kits. We can order other brands such as Simpson Dura Vent (they are not compatible across brands). In our store we carry a wide selection of 26-gauge stove pipe in black or galvanized. Gas vent pipe, and Metalbestos chimney pipe can be ordered.
